For my friend Cindy

My friend, Cindy, is a first time grandmother. She is proud as can be of her adorable new grandson. I’ve seen pictures of him from day one almost.  Actually sharing her joy was a bit tricky that week since my husband was in the hospital at the time; but this is what friends do…we get through the ups and downs together the best way we know how. Cell phones are great, huh? Since my motto is “7 days without crochet makes one weak” (pun intended) the sweater is completed and on its way to New York in the morning.
